  • We carry all of the leading wig manufactures in our shoppe. Some of the most popular are Jon Renau, Raquel Welch, Gabor, Estetica, Follea by Daniel Alain, Noriko, Rene of Paris, Ellen Willie, Envy, C&S Fashions, and many more. We also work with several custom wig makers.

  • When you come to The Wig Shoppe, you will work one-on-one with a wig consultant to find the perfect solution for your needs. Your consultant will educate you on the different types of wig fibers, cap constructions, and more. She will try on as many styles as you want and review care. Most of our clients come in not knowing a lot about alternative hair - it is our job to educate you and help you feel confident in making the right choice for your lifestyle, needs, and budget.

  • Synthetic is our most popular fiber! These wigs have come a long way through the years and are lower cost, lower maintenance, and easy to care for. The average woman loves the ability to purchase a synthetic wig and not have the upkeep of heat styling the hair. With synthetic, the style it is, will remain. Even when you hand wash your wig, the shape and style will come right back. What a dream!

    Human hair is popular for our clients with longer-term hair loss, longer hair (shoulder length or below), and for those women who love to change up their look. Human hair is what it sounds - real hair. It could be heat styled, curled, and lasts longer (1 to 3 years). Human hair is also more of a financial investment. Ask us about our payment plans to see if that would be an option for you!

    We also offer heat friendly synthetic fibers, as well as, human hair/synthetic blends.

  • At the wig shoppe, we offer free cutting, trimming, and thinning to any wig. We can also help set or move the part in the piece to mimic your biological hair. We also have been trained in custom wig alterations and fitting. We believe that almost all wigs have to be customized to help you achieve your most natural look. A slight bang trim or some thinning can go a long way.

    Our human hair toppers and wigs can be custom colored as well for an additional charge.

  • You will leave the wig shoppe with a care card that will remind you how to care for your new piece and set you up for success. Your consultant will also review all care with you during your consultation.

    Our synthetic wigs are lower maintenance - more of a wash and wear. We sell synthetic wig shampoo, conditioner, spray, brushes, and more.

    Our human hair full wigs will come with a bag of goodies to ensure the longevity of your investment. This will include a head, clamp, t-pins, shampoo, conditioner, and an oil.

    We also can service your wig or hairpiece for you when the time for washing comes if you prefer to pay for that service - ask your consultant about this if it interests you.

  • Our pieces can last anywhere from a few months to a few years. The lifetime of your piece will depend on the hair fiber, length of the hair, and your lifestyle.

    Synthetic wigs and hairpieces are a shorter term investment - the typical synthetic piece can last anywhere form 3 to 18 months.

    Human hair pieces are a longer term investment - the typical human hair piece can last 1 to 3 years.

    Ask your consultant about the lifetime of your piece.

  • Full synthetic wigs and hair pieces cannot be heat styled or colored. Heat will burn & melt a synthetic wig. The fiber is very popular (our most popular fiber!) and the reason is - synthetic is low maintenance. The style it is, is the style it will remain. A curly wig will stay curly and a straight wig will stay straight.

    We also offer a heat friendly synthetic fiber in both our wigs and hair pieces - this fiber can take a heat around 300 degrees or less. This can be a good option for some and can offer more work for others who prefer the benefits of the lower work synthetics typically require. Ask your consultant the pros and cons of this fiber to find out if it is right for you.

    Human hair pieces can be heat styled and custom colored. In fact, you will want to use heat to style your human hair piece for the best results.

  • Many of our clients are experiencing medical hair thinning or total loss.

  • Of course! Selecting a wig or hair piece is so personal. Looking, trying, touching, and seeing is crucial in building confidence with your new piece. We will put a wig cap over your head for sanitary purposes to try as many pieces as necessary to help you look and feel your best.

    Appointments are always suggested although we try to assist everyone!

  • Everything is final sale! Our goal is to offer zero pressure consults and give you the time you need before making your purchase. Once you leave the store with a piece, it is yours to keep. However, if you need any more trimming or thinning, our services are always free! Set up an appointment and come back anytime as you figure out your new hair.
